High-rise glass,
cleaned on rope.

A multi-story public courthouse with a full glass facade. No boom lift access on most elevations, no business-hour disruption to staff or citizen visits. BlueSky executed the program through documented rope-access window cleaning, scheduled around the building's operating cycle.

The Challenge

A public-facing courthouse facade where boom lift was not the answer.

The Orange County Government building is a multi-story public facility with an extensively glazed exterior that the public sees every day. Most elevations could not be reached cleanly with a boom lift, either because of pedestrian flow at street level, parking constraints, or building geometry that put the lift's reach outside the right working angle.

And it is a courthouse: staff and citizens move through the building on a daily schedule that the cleaning program had to respect, not interrupt.

The Scope

A documented rope-access program, scheduled around the building.

BlueSky deployed certified rope-access technicians for the elevations the boom lift could not reach. The program was sequenced so the visible facade was completed before staff arrival, with documented anchor checks, tie-off verification, and pedestrian-control plans on every shift.

  • Rope access on full-height elevations
  • Boom lift on lower-elevation segments where geometry allowed
  • Documented OSHA-aligned tie-off and anchor verification
  • Pedestrian-control plans for street-level work
  • Off-hours scheduling around staff and citizen-visit windows
  • Shift-by-shift completion sign-off
  • Photo documentation of each elevation served
